LOS ANGELES — Sophomore point guard Dylan Andrews still can’t stop smiling after receiving several days of warm wishes in Westwood after his game-winning shot with less than four seconds to go in UCLA’s 66-65 win against UC Riverside last week.
“It’s dope, man,” said Andrews, who grew up nearby in Gardena. “It’s a blessing. It really shows love and how the fans and the people up here really truly care about the sport and really care about their athletics, so it’s a blessing.”

Meanwhile, Andrews, who is averaging 10.2 points and a team-high 4.3 assists per game, is excited that Saturday’s game against Villanova will be played in the NBA’s Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
