The 10,000 Buddha Relics Exhibition: Wei Mountain Temple invites the public to the display, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Feb. 16-18. Special times to meditate with the relics are held 9-10 a.m. and 7-8 p.m. Feb. 16-18. Free admission. According to the temple, this is the largest collection of Buddha relics in the United States. Donald E. Bianchi Planetarium at California State University, Northridge: The Department of Physics and Astromomy at CSUN presents the grand reopening of the planetarium (closed down in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic). “Star Shows” at 6 and 7:15 p.m. on Feb. 16 and 23. Golden Dragon Parade: The Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles presents the 125th parade — celebrating the Year of the Dragon — that includes traditional lion and dragon dance teams, bands, dance troupes, dignitaries, elected officials and cultural groups, 1 p.m. Feb. 17.
