The terrifying sounds of chainsaws and the revolting stench of exhaust will once again be floating through the air over Universal’s Horror Nights as Leatherface wields his weapon of choice during the annual Halloween fright fest at the Hollywood theme park.
A Texas Chainsaw Massacre maze will return to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood in honor of the classic slasher film’s 50th anniversary.
Halloween Horror Nights 2024 will feature eight new haunted mazes along with several scare zones and the Terror Tram on select nights from Sept. 5 to Nov. 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy of Leatherface maze will feature a new storyline celebrating the original 1974 slasher film. The new maze will take visitors inside an abandoned slaughterhouse where they will come face-to-face with versions of Leatherface from all nine films in the horror franchise.
Horror Nights Creative Director John Murdy made the announcement of TCM’s return on Sunday, July 28 during the Midsummer Scream horror convention in Long Beach.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre film franchise has been the inspiration for past Horror Nights mazes in 2007, 2008, 2012 and 2016 at the Hollywood theme park.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre is the fourth haunted house for Horror Nights 2024 based on a major Hollywood franchise — joining mazes based on Insidious, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire and A Quiet Place.
