Sunday’s 95th Academy Awards returned to the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, with Jimmy Kimmel hosting for a third time. Here are the GIFs that sum up this year’s Oscars.

1. Kimmel started the evening with a few references to last year’s show during his opening monologue. “If any of you get mad at a joke and decide you want to come up here and get jiggy with it, it’s not going to be easy. There’s a few of my friends you’re going to have to get through first,” said Kimmel before listing off a few attendees who have portrayed characters known for packing a powerful punch including Michelle Yeoh, Michael B. Jordan and Pedro Pascal.
Everyone seemed to relate to the face Andrew Garfield made after Kimmel mentioned the Spider-Man actor.
2. Speaking of Garfield and Pascal, Twitter loved this year’s presenter pairings including Pascal with Elizabeth Olsen and Garfield with Florence Pugh. Many hoped to see more of the duo’s, either presenting again at future award shows or as potential co-stars.
The talked-about moment is also an indication of how mild this year’s Academy Awards was compared to years past.
3. It’s safe to say that attendees did not want to get pulled into any unnecessary drama this year. This was made apparent when Kimmel asked Malala Yousafzai her take on whether or not Harry Styles spat on Chris Pine at the Venice Film Festival last year and she responded with “I only talk about peace.”
4. One of the only hiccups throughout the ceremony seemed to be when Elizabeth Banks tripped on her way to present best visual effects.

6. “Everything Everywhere All at Once” not only won big with seven Academy Awards, the cast won over viewers at home with their reactions.
