Firefighters discovered a man’s body after putting out a house fire in Sun Valley on Wednesday, April 10.
The medical examiner’s office has not yet identified the man.
No one else was injured in the fire in the 7500 block of North Craner Avenue, reported to the Los Angeles Fire Department shortly after 4 p.m.
Arriving firefighters saw flames toward the back of the one-story home built in 1961, according to a fire department statement. They put out the fire in 13 minutes.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
