While there are so many Southern California music festivals still on the calendar for 2023, two new festivals are coming to Orange County in September.
Brew Ha Ha Productions announced the launch of its latest festival brand, Left Coast Luau. The single-day event will feature beer tastings from local and regional craft breweries for those 21-and-older and sets from Reverend Horton Heat, Long Beach Dub Allstars, Ozomatli, Jonny Two Bags, Teenage Goo Goo Muck and more. It’s taking place at Oak Canyon Park in Silverado on Saturday, Sept. 9. Here’s how to get tickets to the festival.
For those who love to bang their heads, the two-day Metal Injection Festival is taking over The Observatory in Santa Ana and House of Blues in Anaheim on Sept. 16-17. The shows will include performances by members of Sepultura playing the band’s “Morbid Visions” and “Bestial Devastation” albums and turns from Testament, Machine Head, Fear Factory and more. Insomniac Events’ HARD Summer is celebrating its 15th anniversary by returning to where it started: Downtown Los Angeles. The two-day festival will take place across multiple stages situated at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Exposition Park and BMO Stadium (formerly Banc of California Stadium) on Aug. 5-6.
