A large tree fell and knocked down several power lines early Tuesday morning in the Beverly Crest area, closing a section of Coldwater Canyon Avenue just south of Mulholland Drive.
The tree collapsed near Eden Drive about 1 a.m., according to ABC7. No one was hurt, and some parked vehicles in the area were not damaged.

Nearby Mulholland Drive remains closed in the Studio City area after a major mud and debris flow left extensive damage.
On video from the scene, several motorists can be seen driving under the yellow fire-department caution tape and up to the tree before turning around.
