Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights has officially revealed all of the mazes for its 2023 season with the final announcement of the Evil Dead Rise and Holidayz in Hell walk-thru attractions, along with Terror Tram: The Exterminatorz, located on the world-famous backlot.
The Evil Dead Rise maze is based on the latest film in the “Evil Dead” franchise, New Line Cinema’s “Evil Dead Rise.”
Holidayz in Hell is a returning original concept maze that explores the horrors of all the holidays from New Year’s Eve to Christmas Day.

After dodging all of the pests, guests will also walk through the Jupiter’s Claim set from Jordan Peele’s 2022 horror and sci-fi film, “Nope.” In the ultimate crossover moment, they’ll also come face-to-face with The Tethered from Peele’s 2019 horror movie, “Us.”
Other HHN attractions include a maze based on the videogame “The Last of Us” and Stranger Things will be returning to the park with a new walk-thru experience exploring the evils in season four of the hit Netflix series.
There will also be walk-thru scares inside The Exorcist: Believer, Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count and Universal Monsters: Unmasked. During the Midsummer Scream convention in Long Beach on July 30, Halloween Horror Nights creative director and executive producer John Murdy revealed the new original concept attraction dubbed Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America.
HHN opens on Sept. 7, and runs select evenings through Oct. 31.
