Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 1,417 more cases and 19 more deaths, Feb. 3

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,417 more cases of the coronavirus since Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,680,571 as of Friday, Feb. 3.

Officials reported 19 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Thursday for a total of 35,325 deaths since tracking began.

There were 40 fewer hospitalizations since Thursday, bringing the total amount of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 687.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 21,429,043 doses administered.
