Celebrating the Fourth of July at a fireworks show after a barbecue or a picnic is a long-standing tradition all across the United States.
Start planning to see professional fireworks, drone or laser shows beginning July 1 this year — some events include a festival before the “light up the sky” displays. Many shows have free admission. Some shows, however, require advance ticket purchase only.
Here is a sampling of regional July 4th fireworks shows in the Los Angeles County region, including Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
July 1
Arcadia
Downtown Arcadia Patriotic Festival and Fireworks: The festival, 5-9:30 p.m., on First Avenue between Diamond Street and Huntington Drive.
