Law enforcement agencies, nonprofits, businesses and community groups gathered at the Long Beach Airport on Saturday, Aug. 24, to help raise money for the Special Olympics Southern California.
After a Supercar Show and opening ceremony on Saturday morning, teams took to the tarmac to find out who could pull the 62-ton UPS jet at least 12 feet the fastest.
The event benefits Special Olympics Southern California, which provides sports programming, competitions, leadership programs and health initiatives.
