With six world-class races, a Lifestyle Expo, the Family Fun Zone, driver autograph sessions, special events, and concerts, those who attend the 48th Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach will have plenty to choose from during race weekend.

And to help them make sense of it all, the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach has launched a new app.

That app, now available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play, will allow users to create personalized race weekend schedules for those attending the Grand Prix, which is set for Friday to Sunday, April 14-16.

The app will also provide easy access to ticket information, locations for food and drinks, a map of the track and more.

“Customize your at-track experience with events happening on and off the track,” the app’s official description says, “plus must-see places at the track and around town.”

The app is meant to enhance the experience for the 185,000 spectators expected to attend Grand Prix weekend, officials say. It will also help visitors keep track of the schedule of events even if cell service is interrupted.

  • Follow download instructions.

App dashboard

After downloading the app and setting up push notifications, users will have access to the main dashboard, which has different buttons to help them plan race weekend.

On the top of the dashboard, there are icons that users can click to see the weather in Long Beach, search the app, see the notifications list and adjust settings. When clicking on the logo for the 48th Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, users will get sent directly to the event’s official…
