Midway into LA Metro’s rollout of portable, self-contained bathrooms at four of its stations, the toilet units were used more than 17,000 times without any reports of illegal activity, the transit agency said on Tuesday, Jan. 16.

The portable bathroom units are at the following transit stations:
• Westlake/MacArthur Park B (Red) and D (Purple) Line subway station
• Norwalk Station of the C (Green) Line light-rail train
• Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Station of the A (Blue) Line and C Line trains
• Sylmar/San Fernando bus depot/Metrolink heavy rail passenger station (the Throne portable is open only for bus operators taking breaks).
