A 28-year-old man who barricaded in a Glendale house for more than six hours before surrendering has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found.
Officers responded to the 3300 block of Reta Street regarding an assault, according to Glendale Sgt. Victor Jackson.
“The Glendale Police Department’s Crisis Negotiation Team and SWAT Team were deployed to the scene to initiate negotiations with the suspect,” Jackson said in a statement.
The suspect was identified as Vahan Keshishyan, 28, of La Crescenta.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner was withholding the dead person’s name pending notification of relatives.
