An Amber Alert was issued Sunday morning for two children who were allegedly abducted by their father in Riverside, authorities said.
Lilianna Acosta, 6, and Elias Acosta, 2, were taken about 12:20 a.m. in the 9100 block of Coral Tree Lane allegedly by their father, Frank Acosta-Ortega, 27, whom authorities said should be considered armed and dangerous, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Lilianna Acosta was described as a 3-foot, 2-inch tall Latino girl weighing 50 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Elias Acosta was described as a 2-foot, 8-inch tall Latino boy weighing 30 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
The suspect was described as 5-foot, 8-inch tall Latino man weighing 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Acosta-Ortega was last seen wearing a long-sleeved black shirt and black pants and driving a silver BMW 335i with California license plate numbers 9AQR805.
The CHP urged anyone with any information regarding their whereabouts to call 911 or the Riverside Police Department 951-955-2400.
