PALMDALE — A shooter who authorities say fired several shots while possibly onboard a Metrolink train in Palmdale remains on the loose Thursday.
Fox 11 reported deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Palmdale Station were called around 10 p.m. Wednesday to the Palmdale Metrolink Station at 39000 Clock Tower Plaza Drive East regarding the shooting. Upon their arrival, they learned a man had been wounded with a gunshot to the leg, and a woman passenger was complaining about an injury she sustained while dodging gunfire.
Video showed what appeared to be multiple bullet holes in the train’s passenger car.
The man was taken to a hospital for his leg injury.
Deputies have no suspects in the shooting.
