Two separate stabbing incidents were reported on the Metro B Line Red platform on Thursday.
The first incident occurred at the Hollywood and Western Station around 5 p.m. on the 5400 block of Hollywood Boulevard. An adult male victim was hospitalized with several stab wounds to the abdomen, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The Hollywood and Western station was temporarily closed due to police activity and resumed normal services around 7:30 p.m.
Around 8:23 p.m. at the Westlake and McArthur station on the 600 block of South Alvarado Street, a male suspect armed with a large knife stabbed an adult male victim, police said. The victim, who received cuts to his neck and torso, also was hospitalized.
Police said the suspect was gone once they arrived. It was not clear if the two incidents were related.
