At least one person died Saturday afternoon in a shooting at a Trader Joe’s parking lot in West Hills, police said.
There could be three or four more victims, according to LAPD spokesperson Officer Jayder Chaves.
A suspect was located around 4:30 p.m. and officers were trying to take him into custody. It was not immediately clear how far he fled from the parking lot area.
The suspect “may be known to the victims,” Chaves said. It was unclear if the shooting was gang-related.
The store is located at 6751 Fallbrook Ave, near Vanowen Street.
