Elizabeth Camacho has significant experience with general planning and zoning law, including the complex and ever-changing statutes and regulations governing housing and other land use matters at the state and local levels, with substantial experience on a wide range of project types and sizes, including multi-family housing, mixed-use, educational and religious institutions, hospital and medical uses, studios, and industrial uses, among others.
Camacho is frequently sought out by clients for her deep experience in successfully guiding matters involving the California Environmental Quality Act, the Subdivision Map Act, the California Coastal Act, historic preservation law and Housing Element Law, including the Housing Accountability Act. She recently represented Claremont McKenna College in the entitlement of the Robert Day Science Center, now under construction on the CMC campus, which will be a modern teaching and laboratory facility approximately 135,000 square feet in size.
