After a three-year break from live performances, Nine Inch Nails is back with a European and American tour.

The band’s Peel It Back Tour will kick off in Ireland and travel through the UK, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Spain, and Austria before reaching North America. The last show will be at the Kia Forum in Inglewood on Thursday, Sept. 18.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at noon via nin.com.

Nine Inch Nails was founded in 1989 by singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Trent Reznor. Throughout the years, the band has taken several hiatuses in between albums with Reznor being the only consistent member of the group. In 2016 he brought on Atticus Ross, his longtime friend collaborator, programmer and producer. Reznor and Ross have been working together for years including for Reznor’s musical side project Tapeworm which was active until 2004. The two musicians were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of Nine Inch Nails in 2020.

Outside of their contributions to Nine Inch Nails, the two musicians have actively been making a name for their film scores including most recently for the A24 film “Queer.” They’ve won the the Academy Award for Best Original Score for “The Social Network” in 2010, the Grammy Award for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media for “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” in 2013, and the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score for “Challengers.”

Last year at the D23 fan event in Anaheim, Disney announced that Nine Inch Nails would produce the score for the third installment of the cyber-futuristic science fiction film series, “Tron: Ares.” It will be the first score attributed to the band and will feature new original songs from the band since the release of their last albums in 2020.
