Halloween at Lanark Recreation Center: The event has a “Beetlejuice” theme and includes arts and crafts, candy, costume contest, and games, 6-10 p.m. Oct. 31. In addition, as a fundraiser, the event has a black light “Balloon Room” (entry is $2 per person or $ for three people; funds raised go to the public advisory board at Lanark for its effort to improve the park and parking).
