The Canyon Hills Library has some fun events planned this month open to kids, teens and adults. First, though, the East Anaheim branch has an egg hunt planned.
The East Anaheim Branch Library is hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza at 11 a.m. on March 23 and all kids are invited. Enjoy crafts, games and a fun egg hunt. For additional information, call 714-765-3887.
Kids and families are invited to participate in a Holi Chalk Art event at the Canyon Hills branch from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on March 25. Visit the library’s patio and add to a bright and colorful chalk drawing to celebrate Holi, the Hindu Festival of Colors. Materials will be provided.
Then on March 25, a movie screening of “Hidden Figures” will be begin at 3 p.m. at the branch. There is no cost to attend and free snacks are also available. Contact the branch at 714-765-6444.
And, mark your calendar for AnaCon, a comics and sci-fi event at Anaheim’s Central Library on April 27.

Hunt for eggs, enjoy fellowship
Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church will host a community egg hunt following its 10 a.m. worship service on March 24 and all kids are invited.
A continental breakfast will also be served in the church Fellowship Hall after the morning worship. All are welcome.

Help Marine families with Easter fun
Patriots 4 Pendleton is once again sponsoring an Easter basket and gift card drive for the families of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and the community is invited to participate.
The nonprofit organization is asking for wrapped Easter baskets for the young children of the unit’s Marine families, $20 gift cards for teens and $25 gift cards for single Marines stationed at Camp Pendleton.
