The shows keep coming as the OC Fair announces its 2024 season at Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa.
Sacramento-based rock band Cake announced it will perform at the Costa Mesa venue with opening support from Ukrainian folk music quartet DakhaBrakha on Tuesday, July 9, ahead of the opening of the OC Fair (July 19-Aug. 18). Tickets for Cake are $50-$90 and go on sale to the general public on Saturday, March 2 at 10 a.m. at pacamp.com. Fans can use the code BRAKE8 to access the presale on Thursday, Feb. 29, at 10 a.m. This concert does not include admission to the fair.
If you are trying to catch the fair and a concert, you can do that with some of the shows in August.
Country music singer and songwriter Chris Lane will take the stage on Wednesday, Aug. 14. Tickets for Lane are $30-$70 go on sale to the general public on Saturday, March 2 at 10 a.m. at pacamp.com.
Following Chris Lane will be a co-headlining acoustic performance by Rick Springfield and Richard Marx on Thursday, Aug. 15. Tickets for the special joint performance are $35-$75 and go on sale to the general public on Saturday, March 2 at 10 a.m. at pacamp.com.
Some of the other shows scheduled at the venue include The Happy Together Tour on Sunday, July 21, with The Turtles, Jay and The Americans, The Association, Badfinger, The Vogues and The Cowsills; Los Tucanes de Tijuana on Sunday, July 14, with a special guest Voz de Mando; country-pop singer-songwriter Walker Hayes on Wednesday, Aug. 7.
Country star Brett Young will headline on Aug. 4; Isla Vista-based reggae rock band Rebelution, who announced it will headline for four evenings on Aug. 8-11 while out on its Good Vibes Cali Tour with special guests Kolohe Kai, Matisyahu, Cydeways and DJ Mackle.
Bonnie Raitt will perform a special post-OC Fair show on Sept. 14.
