Pearl Jam will release its 12th studio album, “Dark Matter,” on April 19 and announced a world tour in support of the effort, which comes to Kia Forum in Inglewood on May 21-22.
The trek marks a significant milestone for the band as they announce a new project and tour simultaneously for the first time. The album will be released on Monkeywrench Records/Republic Records and serves as the follow-up to the band’s 2020 release, “Gigaton.” Recorded over a span of three weeks at Shangri-La Studios in Malibu, the album was produced by Andrew Watt. The title track, also the lead single, is now available on all streaming platforms.

Fans can register for a Ticketmaster Verified Fan sale now through Sunday, Feb.18 at Ticketmaster.com. Tickets for the general public will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23.
The rock group is also celebrating indie record stores with the release of a special edition featuring light painting art on the record packaging by Alexandr Gnezdilov on April 20 only at participating stores as part of Record Store Day.
