Where’s the wettest spot in Orange County from today’s “Pineapple Express” storm?
The map reflects rainfall stats collected by OC Public Works at 60 sites countywide for the 48 hours ended Thursday, February 1, at 10 a.m. The storm has already flooded several beach communities.
The median rainfall of 60 measurements was 0.91 inches. Orange County’s rainiest spots were:
- Carbon Creek Channel at 2.03 inches.
- Seal Beach at 1.93 inches.
- Anaheim/Barber City at 1.77 inches.
- Lower East Garden Grove/Huntington Beach at 1.61 inches.
- Garden Grove at 1.54 inches.
- Westminster Channel at Chestnut/Beach at 1.51 inches.
- Gilbert Retention Basin at 1.5 inches.
