Legendary Bay Area rock act has four big concerts coming up in California

The Doobie Brothers are heading back out on the road.

And the San Jose troupe plans to include the Bay Area on its itinerary.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame act — which includes Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald, Pat Simmons and John McFee — performs June 22 at Toyota Pavilion at Concord. The group also has three other California dates — June 20 at Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland, June 23 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood and June 25 at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Jan. 26, livenation.com or thedoobiebrothers.com. There is also a presale for Citi cardmembers that runs from 10 a.m. Jan. 23 to 10 p.m. Jan. 25, www.citientertainment.com.
