THE GAME: Although the Angels had most of their regulars in the starting lineup, they did not manage a run until scoring two with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to pull out a 2-2 tie with the Dodgers on Friday in Tempe, Ariz. The Angels are 4-2-1 this spring.

Left-hander Jhonathan Diaz pitched two scoreless innings, including a strikeout of Nevin’s son, Kyle, who was just drafted last year. “That was neat for (Dodgers manager Dave Roberts) to put him in there,” Phil Nevin said.
