UCLA March First Thursday: Westwood Village Farmers Market, noon-4 p.m. March 2. During the market hours, the American Red Cross gives instructions on CPR, answers questions about the organization, giving blood and being prepared for natural disasters. Also, test your knowledge of disaster preparedness when you spin a trivia wheel. The “First Thursday” picks up again with a “Game On! Evening Block Party” that celebrates UCLA Athletics and includes sports-theme activities, entertainment, face painting, food carts and trucks, 7-10 p.m. March 2.
