A brief burst of hail followed by a dusting of snow surprised Disneyland visitors who were prepared for the chance of rain under cloudy blue skies and the possibility of fake snow during the evening fireworks show.

“It’s snowing at Disneyland in Anaheim,” Celestino said in clear bewilderment on the video. “It was hail a minute ago in Downtown Disney. I’m going to call this snow.”

The sudden burst of snow left Disneylanders dumbfounded as they stood in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
“I cannot believe I just experienced light snow at Disneyland,” wrote Amanda on Twitter. “My jaw is on the floor.”
