On Tuesday morning, The Rolling Stones announced that they will return to the road in 2024 with the Hackney Diamonds Tour in support of their latest album of the same title.
According to a press release, while Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood will still deliver the hits like “Start Me Up,” “Gimmie Shelter,” “Sympathy for the Devil” and more, they’ll also sprinkle in bits from the new record with songs like the newly Grammy-nominated single, “Angry,” and “Sweet Sounds of Heaven.”
The band will return to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on July 10 and tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1 at Ticketmaster.com.
Back in October 2021, The Rolling Stones performed in front of a sold-out crowd at SoFi Stadium and paid tribute to its late drummer Charlie Watts, who died just months earlier. The show opened with a video montage of Watts’ performances through his six decades with the band, which kicked off that evening with “Let’s Spend The Night Together.”
Jagger & Co. continued to play the hits including “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” “Ruby Tuesday,” “Honky Tonk Women,” “Paint It Black” and ended the night with a two-song encore that wrapped with “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.”
