Three students were detained after a stabbing Wednesday at Van Nuys High School left at least three students injured, authorities said.
The crime was reported about 10:55 a.m. on the 6500 block of Cedros Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

According to LAUSD Superintendent Alberto Carvalho, three students were taken to a hospital and a fourth student was also injured but was not taken to a hospital. Video from the scene showed one teenager on a stretcher. The severity of the injuries was not immediately known.
The school is on lockdown, but Carvalho said school activities are expected to resume as normal shortly, and dismissal will also be conducted normally.
No information on the students who were detained was released by authorities.
