Flo Jo’s story: Flo Jo has the most beautiful, mesmerizing eyes that draw you in and never let you go. When she arrived at the shelter in Mission Viejo as a stray, Flo Jo was nervous and unsure of her surroundings, but the staff and volunteers were patient with her, giving her time to warm up. Although she comes across initially as an independent dog, once she knows you, she will bond strongly and show you her playful side. She is a gentle walker on the leash and can often be seen carrying a plush toy around. She plays well with some dogs and would benefit from living with a friendly, male dog. Due to her quiet personality, she would do best with an experienced owner in a calm home with no children.
Adoption fee: Flo Jo’s adoption is being sponsored by Dedicated Animal Welfare Group, the shelter’s volunteer group, so it will cost an approved adopter just $20.
Adoption procedure: Application and screening of potential adopters is required to ensure they are the right fit for Flo Jo. Visit Flo Jo at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center, 28095 Hillcrest, Mission Viejo; call 949-470-3045; or email [email protected].
