San Fernando Valley Male Chorus: The chorus is seeking singers of all ages who enjoy four-part male harmony, accompanied by a band. Rehearsals, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Last date for new singers to join is today. The chorus is rehearsing for their annual holiday show, with a variety of seasonal songs, in December. No audition or ability to read music required. The chorus is a nonprofit organization with no political or religious affiliations. Enter parking lot from Haynes Street. K-9 Demonstration Benefit: The Los Angeles Police K-9 Fund holds the event with a meet-and-greet and information about the K-9 teams and training, 5 p.m. The group’s fundraising goal is $12,000 that will go to replacing aging and injured K-9s in the LAPD’s K-9 Unit.
