A public meeting to give the public an opportunity to comment on San Pedro’s Waterfront Draft Connectivity Plan will be presented from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, at the Harbor Administration Building, 425 S. Palos Verdes St., San Pedro.
The meeting will include a presentation of the plan followed by opportunities to weigh in.

Gerdo Aquino, CEO of SWA, the firm selected by the port to create what is now a more than 400-page plan, told harbor commissioners at their Sept. 7 meeting that the document started with looking at how the waterfront is changing.
“What is happening here is extraordinary to many of us,” he said. “West Harbor is an incredible opportunity.” Adding to that, he said, is AltaSea, the USS Iowa and development along the Cabrillo Way Marina.
