Brea’s State of the City report was traditionally presented at a luncheon meeting, usually at the Embassy Suites, for approximately 100 people.
Then the pandemic hit and the State of the City went virtual in 2020 and 2021. This year it again will be virtual, but with some cool changes. One big change is how it will be readily available to everyone starting at noon Sept. 6, and run continuously that day on Spectrum Cable Channel 3 and AT&T Uverse Channel 99.
On Sept. 7, it will be shown at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Channels 3 and 99. Oh, but you don’t have access to Channels 3 or 99? No problem, you’ll be able to stream it anytime you please at youtube.com/CityofBrea, or cityofbrea.net/breatv. It makes it simple to view the 30-minute presentation at your convenience and learn more about our city’s plans and its fiscal well-being.

Also expect information on various developments in progress and those soon to start. I sure hope we learn when and if the 57 Freeway/Lambert Road improvements will ever be finished. I think we are all tired of dealing with the traffic build up caused by that perpetual construction zone.
The State of the City will be approximately 30 minutes, and from the preview I’ve seen it looks like a fast-paced video presentation with more depth and variety than a typical State of the City. And you don’t have to pay for lunch…
