Hank’s story: Hank is a tiny guy with great big love, affection, fun and energy. His past is pretty much unknown, but it has left him paralyzed from the waist down. (He has some feeling in his feet, but does not use his legs.) Hank acts like every other dog, but does require some special care. While he can go to the bathroom without assistance, he doesn’t have a lot of control of his bladder. He must be watched all the time or put in a safe place because he’s as fearless as he is tiny and, like most dogs in his situation, doesn’t know he has special needs. His perfect home would have someone who works from home or can bring him to work. Because he’s so tiny and can’t easily get out of the way, he needs a home without small children or rambunctious dogs. Hank loves his stroller and wheelchair – but he sure wouldn’t say no to being carried. He also loves to give kisses, play with toys and soak up the attention.
Adoption procedure: Visit Pups and Pals’ website for full adoption procedures and an application, which must be received before meeting Hank. If you have questions about Hank not answered on the website, call 562-713-5103. Pups and Pals has other dogs if Hank is not your perfect match.
