A Villa Park home with an Astroturf field and batting cage in the backyard has hit the market for $4.299 million.
This five-bedroom, six-bathroom contemporary home, described by co-listing agent Estel Hilton of The Beverly Hills Estates as having an “opulent Hollywood Hills architectural style,” was built on a nearly two-thirds-acre lot in 2022.
There’s a basketball court off the driveway at the front of the property.
The house is in what’s known as the Hidden Jewel, the smallest city in Orange County. Villa Park has been home to several famous personalities, including actor Kevin Costner, Yankees manager Aaron Boone and singer Jose Feliciano.
From April to June, Redfin data shows potential buyers from major cities such as San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C. and Boston searched for homes in Villa Park. The median sale price per square foot in June was $513, down 8% since last year.
Although this home’s square footage is unknown, Redfin estimates its value at $4.315 million.
The front door lies at the top of a staircase. Once opened, it reveals a bright and airy living space.
Accordion doors slide away, extending the great room, the breakfast area off the gourmet kitchen and the primary suite to the outdoor terrace. It features a saltwater pool and spa, a Baja pool, three fire pits, a sunken seating area and a barbecue island with a refrigerator and sink.
The primary suite boasts floor-to-ceiling storage and a luxurious bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower and soaking tub.
There is a separate structure at the back of the property with a fully-equipped gym, an office, a kitchen and a bathroom. The roof of the structure is covered with Astroturf.
Other features include an attached three-car garage with a large walk-in safe, additional storage room and an electric car charger.
Estel Hilton of The Beverly Hills Estates and Katherine Candelaria of KC Realty Group share the listing.
