Dana Point residents have been enjoying evening movies in the park and now the city is turning up the volume with some concerts.
Kicking off the summer concert series will be Journey USA and Jumping Jack Flash on July 9.
The series runs through Aug. 13, with co-headliners Common Sense and The Tijuana Dogs performing the last night.
Also coming up are Sega Genecide and Flashback Heart Attack on July 16; Fooz Fighters and Led Zepagain on July 23; Pyromania and Wildshot on July 30; and SouthBound and Company and Fortunate Son — A Tribute on Aug. 6.
The opening bands start at 3 p.m. and the headliners take the stage at 4:30 p.m. at Sea Terrace Park.
