A California Highway Patrol officer was injured early Sunday after a pursuit of a reckless driver led to a rollover crash off the 91 Freeway in Long Beach, officials said.
The pursuit began at 1:43 a.m. eastbound on the 91 near Main Street and ended a few minutes later in a collision on Long Beach Boulevard. CHP Officer Moses Marroquin said
The suspect, who was in the rolled vehicle, was arrested, Marroquin said. Details on the pursuit and crash were not available. The officer’s injuries were described as minor.
