RuPaul’s DragCon LA 2023: The three-day all-ages and family-friendly event includes appearances by RuPaul’s “Drag Race” personalities, exhibitors, meet-and-greet and signings, performances, panel and Q&A sessions and vendors, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. May 12 and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. May 13. Admission $50; $150 All Star; $80 for weekend general admission (other options available; scroll up and down the tickets box). Children ages 8 and younger are free when accompanied by an adult with a paid ticket. There must be one paid ticket for every free child’s ticket used. Farm Sanctuary’s Family Day: The event includes open sanctuary time with rescued chickens, cows, goats, pigs and other animals, a mini-garden station activity, a storytime and book signing with Ruby Roth (author-illustrator of vegan books for children), and a vegan high tea with savory and sweet foods, 1-4 p.m. May 13. Rose Bowl Flea Market: Find what you’ve been searching for or discover a new collectible, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. May 14. Admission $12; ages 11 and younger are free with an adult; $20 for early admission between 5 and 8:45 a.m. (purchase all admissions online). The flea market is held on the second Sunday of the month.
