School: Don Lugo
Sport: Soccer
Noteworthy: The senior forward has battled through injuries to help the Conquistadores capture the program’s second consecutive Mt. Baldy League championship. She recorded a hat trick on Senior Night to lead Don Lugo to a 9-0 victory over Chaffey that clinched the league title. Montelongo’s junior season was ended because of a torn ACL, and she is playing through ACL, MCL and meniscus tears this season. Montelongo pulls double duty in the winter season, as she also is a member of the wrestling team.
