RYTMO provides music network access to curriculum
Anaheim-based Reaching Youth Through Music Opportunities, or RYTMO, has extended its curriculum to include the history of music from the Renaissance Period to jazz; making the copyrights system understandable, how to market your own music, and more. Of course, music theory, songwriting and performance are still offered as well.
RYTMO is a nonprofit after-school program designed for youth who demonstrate musical, technical and business potential in music.
And through new partnerships, its curriculum is now being made available to help youth from under-served communities as well in several foreign countries to develop musically, academically and otherwise.
The group also recently learned NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants), which hosts its big annual trade show in Anaheim, will add to the resources of RYTMO by providing access to its oral history library.
