Comedian Gabriel Iglesias is coming to the Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa this summer for a special post-OC Fair show.
The popular Southern California native will headline the venue on Sunday, Aug. 27. Tickets are $45-$85 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 15 at Ticketmaster.com.
Iglesias became the first comedian to headline a comedy show at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles as he sold out two events at the famous ballpark in May 2022. Both shows were filmed and “Gabriel Iglesias: Stadium Fluffy Live from Los Angeles” was released as a comedy special on Netflix that October.
Latin Grammy award-winning Mexican norteño band Los Tucanes De Tijuana will headline another post-OC Fair show with support from Banda El Limon on Friday, Aug. 18. Tickets are $45-$100 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 15 at Ticketmaster.com.
Led by Mario Quintero Lara, Los Tucanes De Tijuana formed in Tijuana, Baja California in 1987 and is known for its unique take on norteño music. The group won a Latin Grammy in 2012 for the album “365 Dias” and has received five Grammy Award nominations to date. In 2019, they were also the first regional Mexican group to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio where they played songs like “La Chica Sexy,” “Me Gusta Vivir De Noche” and “El Tucanazo.”
Tickets to these shows do not include OC Fair admission since they are happening outside of the annual run of the fair which takes place July 14-Aug. 13 at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa.
